I contacted JME to be a volunteer at an event in 2017. Many months prior to when it was to occur. It was understood that I would be comped for the event entrance. I would make my own lodging and travel arrangements. Coming from a technical background, I also offered basic website support if needed, since I heavily supported the geek/nerd kink community. I was interested in meeting fellow minds. I didn't hear back from JME until a week before the event. It was so late that I had already made other arrangements and didn't feel comfortable with the organization. This year I was arranging to be paying guest for myself and a fellow friend. No longer. I will not associate with JM, JME, or any associated organization.
