Note (Edit 3/22 @ 1:54 pm): Jullie from Silver Phoenix disputes Jeff's claim that he was speaking with the SPS. Jullie states that Jeff did not speak with the Board of SPS.
...the short version is that I can't make a public statement now, and I don't expect anyone to not be angry or trust me or wait, but there is actually a real and serious attempt to get a steampunk World's Fair to happen. I do not ask anyone to hold anything back whatsoever while they wait and I don't blame anyone who feel this has been A horror show.
... But I'm not going to be the one putting on a show, and the people putting on a show are going to be doing it for the purposes of making sure that there is some kind of show, and I certainly will not get any money from it.
