Let me start off by saying that I don’t write posts like this... I hate talking bad about other events because I’ve always felt that it was unprofessional to do so. However, this case is so unbelievably bad that I feel I need too.

Some of you probably have already seen posts about alleged allegations of sexual misconduct, misappropriated funds and treatment of employees and volunteers connected to Jeff Mach Events and Wicked Faire Productions by many people now. A lot of these sources are well known to me and some of which are close friends and it is of my opinion that I believe them.

It personally angers and insults me as a promoter that others would not go through the steps that we do to keep a safe space for everyone.

I need to say that the people who have come out with their experiences publicly has been incredibly brave and it is directly due to our current #MeToo culture that any of this was possible.

I have my own experiences that I’ll share at a later date, which led us to cut ties with them years ago.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I will post the links in the comments.
