Quick reminder: friends don't let friends attend, vend, or perform at JM events.
Side note: a kids ticket for an event called Wicked World's Fair, plus a Steampunk For All (ages) panel? This feels like a recipe for disaster. In general, yes, kids can be part of the Steampunk and alt communities... but this feels very wrong at a JM event, especially one with the "Wicked" name.

ReplyDeleteNot for kids is an understatement.. we started vending in person events in 2021 and were told about the holloween market that October. being new baby vendors we didn't vet the event before hand.. wish we had. There were kink and leather vendors mixed into the general area where kids could see ( our neighbors daughter had a bad experience) and cannabis vendors were walking around illegally handing out free samples. The show was awful and after wards Jeff's 20 something year old wife to be dropped allegations against the organizers afterwards and they fired all of them publicly on facebook. I can't stress how badly I wish we had vetted the event and never ever had the displeasure to associate with JME...
