Unfortunately, this past weekend, the Blackthorne Resort decided to end its agreement with Silver Phoenix Society in regards to the organization and coordination of the Blackthorne Steam event. The end of this agreement was determined to be in the best interest of both parties.
However, this is not bleak news. Blackthorne Steam will still be held at the beautiful Blackthorne Resort in East Durham, New York from June 8th through June 10th under the direction of Mrs. Amy Whitehouse with her personal choice of skillful staff and assistants.
Silver Phoenix Society supports Mrs. Whitehouse and the Handel family in their efforts to put on an amazing, intimate vacation weekend for the Steampunk community. We cordially invite everyone to support their upcoming event and wish them the best of luck in their endeavors, both current and future.

It has come to our attention that Jeff Mach has been hired to market the Blackthorne Resort and it's events. We realize that it was a decision that you made based upon your friendship with Mr. Mach and while we are not asking you to sever that relationship, we are disappointed that you did not disclose this to us after our previous discussions.
We are going to publicly share this information because we assured our patrons that Mr. Mach would not be associated with Silver Phoenix Society. It is not meant to be a malicious action on our part but one of transparency.
The one thing that we must insist upon, for the success of the event and the safety of our staff and patrons, is that Mr. Mach is not present at the resort during the event.

I think this is very mean and malicious Tammy. Myself and my family have been totally honest with you. We told you that Jeff would not attend any of your events. What you are doing now is try to tell us WHO we are associated with. My family is not willing to work with anyone would would try to blackmail us. Consider our arraingment over.
